Virginia Klein, broker/owner of RE/MAX Heritage in Westport was given the 2013 Realtor of the Year Award from the Greater Fairfield Board of Realtors, which honors a Realtor who gives outstanding service to both the board and the real estate community.
“If you don’t know her, then she is somebody you ought to get to know,” said Nannette Fatigate, who presented Klein with the award. She is “a woman of magical thinking, of tremendous character, strength and creative force. She embodies the true spirit of what this award is all about. Never again will you meet another Realtor so grateful to be a part of this profession, and so willing to share her tremendous knowledge, wisdom, and insight with others.”
Klein has been helping people move in and around Fairfield County for more than 30 years. She has been a long-standing member of the Fairfield Board of Realtors, and sits on its ethics committee.
In addition to her family of Realtors at RE/MAX Heritage in Westport, Klein has a daughter, Carrie Perkins, who is the director of marketing for the agency, and a granddaughter, Halie. When Klein is not working, she enjoys her “Mimi” time with her girls.
